The bright and modern design features beachfront pool and hot tub, fitness center, bar and hospitality room, dune walkover to the beach, gulf front boardroom and breakfast seating.
HVAC systems consist of high efficiency Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat pumps for the public areas and back of house. In order to maximize energy savings building exhaust is constant and routed to energy recovery ventilators in the dedicated outside air units that provide tempered and dehumidified fresh air to the building.
Water saving plumbing fixtures and condensing, high-efficiency gas fired domestic water heaters are provided. Multiple water heaters allow for targeted water heating while maximizing energy savings. A digital mixing valve was also utilized to ensure safe water temperatures at all guestroom fixtures.
The electrical design included 480V and 208V distribution systems, LED lighting, a distributed low voltage lighting control system, and fire alarm system. The lighting design utilized energy efficient LED light fixtures with integral dimming capabilities
in all spaces to allow for maximum occupant lighting control and energy efficiency.
