The all brick five bay station is both low maintenance and suited to the town’s architecture. The design includes private sleeping quarters and bathrooms, offices and conference space, living and cooking areas and a large collaborative training room.

Given the higher incidence of cancer in firefighters, every means possible was taken to make sure the arrangement of spaces provides the greatest level of separation from the firefighters’ living spaces and the apparatus bay and turnout decontamination and storage.

The project was designed only (2022), currently on hold.
