The interior has an office area, day room and restrooms with showers for the attending firefighters. These interior spaces are conditioned with a high efficiency air handling heat pump unit with an energy recovery unit. The lighting throughout the facility is high efficiency fluorescent fixtures with automatic controls in the office areas. Flood lighting was provided at the exterior of the truck bay area to allow tasks to be accomplished after dusk.
