Dell Consulting designed HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression Systems.  The HVAC consists of a hybrid mix of Variable Refrigerant Flow – VRF (also called Variable Refrigerant Volume – VRV) heat recovery DX and modulating heat pump DX equipment.  Both types of equipment utilize the latest technologies such as inverters, modulating compressors, and modulating fan motors so that the project will achieve a high level of operating efficiency.  The equipment used is also relatively straightforward to maintain with self-diagnostic control systems and software being on board as an integral part of the systems.  The main driver of high efficiency in the VRF system is that the thermodynamics of refrigerant offer the highest capacity of energy transport per unit mass when compared to water or air, i.e., one pound of refrigerant can transport exponentially more energy than air.  The plumbing systems utilize low flow fixtures and faucets in order to reduce water consumption.
