Romesh Canekeratne

Romesh attended the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 1985, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1989.  He is highly experienced in mechanical systems analysis and design, with a focus on institutional HVAC systems and control systems.  Romesh demonstrates his agility in negotiating ongoing changes in the dynamic field of building design.  His experience encompasses a wide variety of projects in both size and scope and across multiple markets including healthcare, higher education, commercial and Department of Defense.

Romesh is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and the Society of American Military Engineers.  He is LEED AP BD+C accredited by the United States Green Building Council and have participated in successfully certifying several large projects up to Gold level.

Romesh lives in Gulf Breeze, Florida with his wife Pam.  In his free time, he enjoys participating regularly in motorsports, instructing teen drivers in executing defensive driving maneuvers, and anything that involves being out on salt water. He is noted to be an engineer by day and chef by night.
