This multi-building complex with covered walkways and canopies was originally designed and constructed in 1974-75. The main building was later expanded increasing the overall size of the campus to over 100,000 GSF.
Mechanical issues at the school were extensive. To improve serviceability, operating economy and indoor air quality, all mechanical units were replaced, including packaged rooftop units, split-system air conditioning units, supply air terminal units, and kitchen ventilation systems. Upgrades to facility electrical and fire alarm systems were also made in support of mechanical system requirements, and a new digital control system interface was provided for central monitoring and control of all mechanical components.
Dell Consulting worked closely with the architect, key school officials, and the mechanical equipment provider to ensure the accelerated design package delivery facilitated an early construction start.
